    Ruby's Restaurant & Courtyard
Before it was ever a fine dining restaurant or popular dance hall, Ruby's was a local bar called Nick's with an exciting and notorious past. The bar opened in 1931, during the prohibition, using the upstairs for serving alcohol while the downstairs remained the area for playing dominos and Bourrè. In fact, when revenuers arrived, the bartender would sound a buzzer and the upstairs activity would cease. The original bar still remains to remind visitors of the restaurant's unique history. Groups also have access to a gorgeous outdoor courtyard, private dining area, and dance hall.
