DESCRIPTION:On June 17th from 5pm-8pm, enjoy the “Sounds of Summer” celebration at the Delta Grand Theatre in Opelousas. Listen in as music students from the Louisiana Folk Roots Kids Camp perform at 6pm. Also performing is a local zydeco favorite, Wayne Singleton & Same Ol’ 2-step band.\nCraft exhibits, games, and local cuisine will spotlight the cultural significance of the Atchafalaya basin region.
