BANKLINE Reviving Resilient Landscapes Workshop

Workshop participants will learn about stormwater management and resiliency through native plantings, have an opportunity to install a demonstration area, and receive advice and complimentary plants from local conservation experts.
Resilient native landscapes are characterized by their ability to withstand regional hydrologic conditions, foster stormwater management, improve surface water quality, and provide a high wildlife value.
“Partners in Preservation” Bayou Vermilion Preservation Association in collaboration with Acadiana Native Plant Project, TreesAcadiana, TECHE Project, Bayou Vermilion District, Society of Wetland Scientists, Soil and Water Conservation Districts, with support from local governments and other community organizations.
