Eunice Crawfish Étouffée Cook-Off
March 29, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Taste Louisiana at the World Championship Crawfish Étouffée Cook-Off! This event features professional and amateur cooks vying for the title of “World Champion.” This has got to be one of the best ways to taste fresh seafood in Louisiana. During the festival, teams compete to see who can cook the best crawfish étouffée in three categories: amateur, professional, and club/organization. Once the judges have their samples from each booth, the public can buy and crawfish étouffée in the running best dish. It’s not all up to the judges; festival-goers can also place their vote for the People’s Choice Award!
Under the pavilion, there’s a dance floor and stage with live music by Cajun music artists and bands. There will also be arts and crafts vendors, a petting zoo, pony rides, fun jumps, and more family-friendly activities. The Annual World Championship Crawfish Etouffee Cook-Off is held in Eunice, Louisiana on the last Sunday in March every year, except when it conflicts with Easter, then it’s the second to last Sunday.
