South Louisiana Performing Arts Fall Festival
August 3, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
The South Louisiana Performing Arts Fall Festival has 26 local vendors that will line the walls of the Opelousas Civic Center on August 3rd. From 10am to 8pm these vendors will sell their products and services while local musicians, singers, dancers, actors, martial artists, and poets alike take the stage to provide live entertainment. Opelousas is known as the Zydeco Capital of the World, but these performers will show that it’s not just music that moves this region.
The festival will also include GameShow competitions, a DJ, a house band, and an art gallery that will showcase visual art work from local visual artists. The SLPA Fall Festival is a cultural explosion of creativity all geared towards showcasing, networking, and celebrating the fruit of South Louisiana. With performances by Especially Arianne, Jonathan Pomier, Mr. Showstoppa, Calebjit, Mark X, and more, this is one event you won’t want to miss. Join SLPA hosts Mr. Spoken Red as well as Ms. V as they take you through the event.
Before 3pm, kids and seniors get in free and adults are $5. After 3pm kids and seniors are $5 while adults are $10.
