The Crawford House Bed & Breakfast is a perfectly preserved historic home in Washington, Louisiana that was once owned by a steamboat captain. In 1864, this property was acquired by Captain William Crawford and his wife, Delia. In the 1890s, the west wing was added which is now an inviting bed and bath where guests can enjoy modern amenities in a 19th-century atmosphere. The proprietors have restored the house by adding period antiques. Three porches overlook the landscaped grounds, with 150-year-old live oaks and an abundance of native plants. Guest have their own private entrance and are treated to a southern breakfast in the morning.
