Atelier de la Nature is a Cecilia/Arnaudville, Louisiana area nature reserve and education center. It aims to inspire people to steward the nature located in their own backyards and guide them on how, collectively, we can protect these natural gifts for future generations.

Atelier de la Nature offers dual language (French and English) cooking workshops, guided nature walks, eco-workshops, art and science educational programming, and more! Within the nature reserve, restorations have begun to bring back native Cajun prairie, hardwood, and wetland habitats, as well as the creation of family-friendly nature trails, so that children of all ages can enjoy the outdoors.

We all know that the food and culture of South Louisiana are special, but did you know this region is one of the most biologically rich areas in the United States? Located between Cecilia and Arnaudville, Atelier de la Nature was the dream of Dr. Brandon Ballengée (Artist and Biologist), Aurore Ballengée (Sustainable Food Educator) and their children Victor and Lily.
