LA Folk Roots Kids Camp

Folk Roots Kids Camp brings together an unparalleled team of gifted artist instructors for a fun-filled week. Kids ages 8-14 can participate in music, crafts, singing, and special activities. The registration fee includes all activities, snacks, and a camp T-shirt. Lunch for the week may be added to the registration fee.

Kids Camp is open to all levels of young musicians. Just bring a guitar, a fiddle, or a 10-button diatonic accordion in the key of C, and we’ll fill the days with music classes, band labs, singing, dancing, crafts, cuisine, and fun educational activities. Instrument rental is available through local music stores.

The camp on June 23-27 is taking place at Le Vieux Village in Opelousas each day from 9am-4pm with registration at $250. There’s another week of the camp taking place in Eunice at LSUE on July 21-25. You can find more information here.
