The Historic Michel Prudhomme Home is believed to be the oldest structure in St. Landry Parish and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This French colonial house was built in the late 1700’s and even housed Union officers during the Civil War. The home is currently owned by the Preservationists of St. Landry, Inc., and serves as an excellent venue for meetings, receptions, private parties, and small weddings.
Amenities include a kitchen and dressing area. This space can accommodate up to 40 guests at a time. For more information, contact Mr. James Douget.
