Ethel Park Dedication Celebration
The highly anticipated opening of Ethel Park is finally happening in the Town of Washington. Celebrate the occasion just a little early on August 5 at 5pm at Wolff Hall right along Washington’s Main Street. Then, be there Saturday morning for the official dedication and ribbon cutting.
After two years of countless volunteer hours, fundraising, and pure community love, the Town of Washington is celebrating the completion and dedication of Ethel Park, their beautiful new community pocket park.
Proceeds from the dedication celebration will be used for ongoing maintenance of Ethel Park.
The Town of Washington thanks Joe and Gabriele Kavanaugh, Jourdan Thibodeaux, the Realtor Association of Acadiana, Atchafalaya National Heritage Area, Latter & Blum Great Pumpkin Grant, Williams Corporation, Acadiana Native Plant Society, and the many other donors and volunteers who made Ethel Park even better than we envisioned.
