Sebastien’s West End is a family-owned, second-generation seafood market in Opelousas, Louisiana. The owner, Sharon Sebastien has been in the family business for over 20 years. She has a good relationship with the local fishermen and carries a large variety of fresh, wild-caught seafood. Their normal stock includes catfish, garfish, gulf coast shrimp, crabs, snapping turtle, and frog legs – ingredients that make a good court bouillon, etouffée, or gumbo. Their friendly staff can also provide recipe ideas and general information about each item in the case.
