Brent and his wife Lucy have been catering special events since the 1980s, but now you can enjoy Chef Brent’s Cajun cooking anytime. Enjoy dinner or a plate lunch at his sit-down dinner, Brent’s Catering, in Grand Coteau, Louisiana. Their restaurant menu features Cajun cuisine favorites, gourmet salads, burgers, and wraps.

Arpeggio’s Lounge & Event Center is located in downtown Opelousas in a historic venue, known to local residents as “The Mainstreet Bar.” In 2004 the building was restored and many of the original fixtures were salvaged. Today, it is a popular destination for live jazz and brass bands on the third Sunday of the month, and also offers Creole cuisine and seafood dishes for lunch. This is an excellent choice for large groups looking for a private venue with a funky French Quarter feel. The restaurant can accommodate up to 100 guests for special events.
