A Cobbler’s House, originally built in 1850, has been converted into a fine art gallery featuring Louisiana artist, Ted Bertrand.
Bertrand is known for his impressionistic scenes of the south and is inspired by the beautiful countryside where he was born and raised. His work portrays the visual beauty of Louisiana landscapes, wildlife, old Acadian-style homes, cotton gins, grain bins, and other structures that exemplify this area. He is constantly on the lookout for the remaining places and views that depict the heritage of the Acadians. The gallery also features the work of various local artists in a variety of mediums. Artworks by Ted Bertrand is located in Grand Coteau, Louisiana, near area galleries, antiques, and shops.
