Picnic on the Lawn

Enjoy a beautiful day on the lawn of the Historic Prudhomme House in Opelousas. Bring your picnic basket or chair, play lawn games, or take a free tour of the Prudhomme House, one of the oldest structures in St. Landry Parish and the oldest that still stands where it was originally built.

Tickets include lunch which you can eat on the lawn. On the menu, there will be chicken salad with croissants, cheese, fruit, nuts, and other treats including petit gateau sec. For beverages water, lemonade, and wine will be available.

Proceeds from this event fund the restoration and renovation of the Prudhomme-Ringrose house.
