Diamond M Youth & Pro Rodeo
On March 20-21, Diamond M Youth Rodeo & Pro Rodeo Co. is rolling into Opelousas for a weekend of amazing rodeo events at the Yambilee Ag Arena.
On Friday night starting at 7:30pm, the kids will show off their skills with bucking steers, bucking horses, junior bulls, and open bulls. Then on Saturday morning starting at 9am get ready for Pee Wee Events, barrels/poles/flags, roping events, goat tying, chute dodging/steer wresting, and mini bulls.

Then on Saturday evening starting at 7pm, it’s the pro’s time to show their stuff. The ACPRA Rodeo in association with Diamond D-L Rodeo Co. is hosting a series of events including Pro Bull Riding, SR Pro Bull Riding, Mini Bull Riding, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, and Barrel Pickup.
Entry fee for contestants is $60. You can text 940-641-4480 if you’re interested.
If you’re just looking to attend and enjoy the skill and sportsmanship of the rodeo, entry is $15 per person.
