Although the weather may not be great for plein air painting meeting at Sarah Castille’s Art Habit for indoor still lifes or interior scenes or even out on the front porch!
ARTworks by Ted Bertrand will also be open @ 10 am
Registration is between 8-10 am at Art Habit – 202 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, (the old Hive location) in Grand Coteau.
If you need art supplies there is a wonderful selection inside the Art Habit store.
Exhibition & closing between 4-5 pm at Artworks by Ted Bertrand, 166 Chatrian St., Grand Coteau.

En plein air is the act of painting outdoors and using the authentic experience of nature to create art taking advantage of natural lighting and scenery. In Grand Coteau on April 18, Artworks by Ted Bertrand and Art Habit are hosting their own Plein Air Paint Out event. It’s Free and open to all skill levels, art mediums, and ages. From 8am-5pm throughout downtown Grand Coteau, you’ll be inspired by the beautiful scenery and historic buildings of this town with a miracle.
Registration is from 8am-10am at Art Haibt, then from 4pm-5pm, artists will be able to exhibit their creations at Artworks by Ted Bertrand.
