The Town of Washington Pavilion is located right at the heart of downtown Washington, Louisiana. This outdoor pavilion is 50 ft. by 100 ft. with a ceiling that has an approximate height of 24 ft. and the ability to host around 100 people.
The pavilion has a bandstand or raised stage that is 15 ft. by 30 ft. With 5 picnic tables and a BBQ pit that is safely tucked away under the pavilion, this venue is perfect for concerts, cook-offs, and more. The pavilion also has stocked men’s and women’s bathrooms available to use as well as 4 garbage cans and water and electricity hookups. If your event goes into the evening, there is after-hours lighting to keep the party going.
This pavilion is located right across from the lovely greenery of Ethel Park and the other amazing shops and eateries along Washington Mainstreet.
The Washington Recreational Center is located in the historic steamboat town of Washington. The facility is 4,200 sq. ft and can accommodate 74 people. The center is equipped with a stainless steel refrigerator, stove, and BBQ pit as well as 15 4ft tables and 80 chairs. The center also features a covered pavilion with basketball goals.
The rental fee is $350 a day with a $100 deposit.
Coasting Z Stables is an equine education facility located just outside of Lawtell, a small community between Opelousas and Eunice. They are known for their monthly Boots & Hooves Day as well as riding lessons. They also happen to be a venue perfect for birthday parties, cook-offs, family reunions, and other group events with a capacity to host 150 people.
Their facilities include an arena, round pen, and barn perfect for horse events and Western pleasure competitions. Coasting Z Stables includes 40 acres of pastureland, a fire pit area, a pond, and on-site bathrooms.

This building itself dates back to 1931 and began as the Fa-Kouri Tailor Shop. From the 60s to 90s, the 3,000 sq. ft. building was known as Fa-Kouri Men’s Wear until new owners and renovations began in the 2010s. Now, it’s a prime example of detailed historic preservation.

Since 1919, the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce has served as an organization through which business executives, professionals and other concerned citizens have united to provide leadership and direction for the economic and social development of St. Landry Parish from their base in Opelousas. The chamber provides access to a conference room for those that need a meeting place or planning area for their business. The conference room is furnished with a whiteboard, mini fridge, Keuring, and other essentials.
Have your intimate get-together in this 1880s era Opelousas church that is typically used by the Opelousas Little Theatre for their shows. The Covered Patio:
The patio area includes several picnic style tables and benches. This area frequently hosts bands and has plenty of room to comfortably hold 50 or more people.
The Beer Garden:
The Beer Garden is over 3,000 sq. feet, landscaped and can accommodate large groups of 50 or more for the perfect outdoor event. Picnic style tables and benches.
The Turnip:
The Turnip private event room is ideal for gatherings and can easily accommodate up to 60 people for seated events and larger groups for cocktail style parties. Event tables and chairs to seat 60, and tablecloths (black or white) are available for seated events.
