Arnaudville VFW Gumbo Cook-Off

Grab a bowl of warm, comforting gumbo at the inaugural Gumbo Cook-Off in Arnaudville. On November 15 from 7am-5pm, head to the VFW Post 5153 located at 1020 VFW drive. Compete in the cook-off with chicken and sausage or seafood categories or enjoy their delicious savory efforts and choose your favorite.

There will be a DJ, raffle, silent auction, 50/50, and various kid friendly activities including a fun jump. There will be awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in chicken and sausage gumbo and the same for seafood gumbo as well as a People’s Choice winner.
