Joe Hall Tribute Concert
NUNU Arts & Culture Collective in Arnaudville will host a special evening honoring the life, music, and legacy of Louisiana Creole accordionist Joe Hall on Saturday, November 21, from 6–9 PM.
Joe Hall was a husband, father, friend, musician, and an important part of Louisiana’s Creole music community. Through his accordion and dedication to the music, Joe helped carry the sounds and traditions of Creole music forward for future generations.
The evening will bring together Joe’s family, friends, fellow musicians, and community members for live Creole music, memories, and storytelling, along with a special screening of Joe’s documentary.
Tickets are now available for $20.
A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Ms. Linda Hall, Joe’s widow, while additional proceeds will help support an intimate Creole music concert series in Arnaudville next year in partnership with NUNU and Zydeco Izreal.
Gumbo with potato salad will also be available for purchase during the event.
