In preparation of the original Southwest Louisiana Zydeco Music Festival, the Zydeco Breakfast is back again with live music and delicious offerings from local downtown businesses in Opelousas, Louisiana. Vendors will feature an assortment of breakfast menu items for sale, from Bloody Mary’s and coffee to Clifton Chenier Casserole and pancakes. Local restaurants and bars around the Courthouse Square include Java Square, Back in Time Restaurant, Palace Café, and The Brass Rail. So, bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the entertainment in a relaxed and charming setting in the heart of downtown Opelousas.
The Southwest Louisiana Zydeco Music Festival is a music concert that celebrates Creole culture and heritage. The festival takes place every year, the Saturday before Labor Day.
