Eunice Poultry was first opened in Eunice during the year 1965. Their founders, Leon Stelly, Harry Bellard, and Ashton Bellard's, goal was to bring customers freshly cut hens exactly to order. Now, over fifty years later, their goal has evolved into their becoming the specialty meat market that caters to the needs of the local community.

Whitetails Sports Bar and Grill continues to preserve and celebrate the food, music, and culture found in the small towns along the bayous of south Louisiana. The restaurant prides itself on being true to its roots and culture and being located near the Atchafalaya River in Krotz Springs makes this very easy. The decor has mounted deer heads, an antler chandelier, and more hunting memorabilia. The menu features an array of specialty sandwiches, like the Doe and Antler Burger, connecting to the restaurant name and image. There's also a daily buffet with home-cooked meals, seafood, and homemade desserts. Large groups are welcome with reservations. Offsite catering and event planning are available.

Right next to the restaurant is a RV Campground. You can have an amazing dinner, sleep, then start your Louisiana outdoor adventure the next day at the nearby Sherburne Wildlife Management Area or Indian Bayou Reserve. These areas have hunting, fishing, hiking trails, and boat rentals.

Looking for just a bite to eat, or as we'd call it goûter (to taste)? Try one of Chef Nancy's pastries at the Kitchen Shop in Grand Coteau, Louisiana. Her Cajun sweet dough pies make a delightful snack while you're shopping. Nancy Brewer is a professionally trained pastry chef, but still uses Grandma Doucet's recipes for pies. Nancy also bakes her specialty, gateau na-na, which is a pecan tart sold whole or by the slice. Her other specialties include buttery scones and decadent chocolate cookies, all made on site in the shop. T-boy's Boudin is a small shop serving fresh boudin and cracklins every morning in Eunice, Louisiana. On a busy Saturday morning, it's well worth the wait in line for a link of boudin. Find a variety of stuffed boudin balls including pepper jack cheese, the original link, salty cracklins, and maybe even some sausage from the specialty meat section. While their food is exceptionally delicious, it's obvious that it's the warm family atmosphere that makes T-boys so legendary. The ladies behind the counter hustle to feed dozens of hungry locals while still greeting each customer with a smile. Don't worry if you can't make it to their location, they will ship.

Stelly's is more than just a supermarket and restaurant; it's a cache of historical keepsakes and an ex-officio community civic center. The grocery store/diner combo has been serving the people of Lebeau, Louisiana since 1920 and even famous travelers including Governor Huey P. Long and Conway Twitty. It's located at the intersection of highways 71 and 10, making it a busy spot during lunch for Acadiana's workforce. The diner is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and serves fried chicken, burgers, sandwiches, and old-fashioned plate lunches.
