The Cottage at Cypress Grove is a fully renovated two-bedroom vacation home in Eunice, Louisiana, home to the famous Liberty Theatre and the Cajun French Music Hall of Fame & Museum. Located on five-plus acres of lush gardens and green space, it’s the perfect spot for birding, relaxing, and reconnecting with nature. Inside, the home features beautiful shiplap, a wide-open living space, a full kitchen with modern appliances, and a bathroom with a clawfoot tub.

Just steps away is the famous Chapelle Country Store, circa 1886, which is known to be the site of one of the last attempted robberies of Bonnie & Clyde. The store is now a boutique wedding venue that can also be used for rehearsal dinners, reunions, and other special events. The Cottage is located on the grounds of Cypress Grove, a special event venue. Lakeview Park & Beach is an award-winning camping resort with indoor and outdoor cultural activities available all year-round. The park is located just three miles north of Eunice, Louisiana, and is a camper’s paradise complete with a 13-acre fishing pond, natural swimming pond and beach, playgrounds, pavilions, and a Cajun and zydeco music dancehall where guests can enjoy barn dances seasonally and even a Cajun New Year’s dance. Accommodations include 95 full hook-up RV sites with electricity, water, and sewer, as well as eight renovated cottages complete with a kitchen and modern amenities, including complimentary WIFI. There are laundry facilities on-site and a general store with camping items and handmade crafts for sale. You can take glamping to the next level with their Deluxe Apartment available on the weekends. It includes a single bedroom, a balcony that overlooks the park with a full kitchen, living room, and bathroom with a claw foot tub. There are also 10 cabins on site.

In the summer months, campers can cool off in the freshwater pond. The park offers live music on the beach and inflatables in the water to play on. Grill masters and home chefs can fire up the barbecue pit for some summer BBQ at their sites.

February through November, Cajun, country, honky-tonk, and zydeco music bands play in the old barn turned dancehall for the Saturday night fais-do-do. Children are welcome to attend this family-friendly barn dance as long as they do not enter the bar side. During Mardi Gras season, Lakeview opens the bar all week long for dancing and music, and even hosts a Lundi Gras boucherie.
