The Steamboat Warehouse Restaurant provides a truly unique dining experience in Washington, Louisiana, the third oldest establishment in the state. This historic, bousillage structure, located in the heart of the old steamboat port, offers guests a step back in time. In fact, it is the last of the old steamboat warehouses still standing on Bayou Courtableau. The building was constructed in the 1820s and originally stored cotton before it was restored in 1977 as a fine-dining restaurant.
