It is located in the historic steamboat town of Washington, Louisiana which celebrated 300 years of history in 2020. The house itself sleeps 5 with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a kitchen, washer and dryer, air conditioning, and is pet friendly. The inviting front porch offers views of beautiful oak trees and the back patio looks at the historic Immaculate Conception Church.

The Carriere Street Cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood with off-street parking and easy access to I-49, making it a mere 10 minutes from Opelousas, the Zydeco Capital of the World with some of the best food in the world, and 25 minutes to Lafayette. Maison Stéphanie

This home, located in Arnaudville, was built in 1796 during the time when the Spanish ruled this part of Louisiana. Now, this beautiful building is a bilingual bed & breakfast and event space.

Built by Martin Duralde, the French Basque commandant of the Opelousas Post from 1795-1803, this residence was home to many families over the years until Douet & Rich Howes purchased the twenty-acre estate in 2019. Newly renovated and committed to being French-friendly, the staff at Maison Stéphanie will speak both French and English and signs on the property are bilingual as well.

This beautiful property is located under ten minutes from the heart of Arnaudville which is home to local artisans and amazing food. You might also stop by Bayou Teche Brewing for tasty wood-fired pizza and iconic craft beer.

Honey Bee Home is your family’s ideal vacation retreat in southern Louisiana. Located only 12 miles north of Lafayette and within the Rubboard Capital of the World, Sunset, you are an arm’s length away from Cajun & Zydeco events, festivals, art galleries, shopping, and the famous Café Josephine.

The home itself was built in 1927 and has been recently remodeled and updated. It is 5 bedrooms and able to sleep 10 with 1 king-sized bed, 2 queens, a twin, a queen sofa sleeper as well as a futon. Its two bathrooms are handicap accessible with a fully equipped kitchen, fenced yard, and covered patio. Pots, pans, dishes, and silverware are provided for guests. Sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels are included. There is a hairdryer included in each bathroom. A washer and dryer are also available.

This child and infant-friendly home is the perfect stay as it’s half a block away from Sunset’s Corridor des Artistes and Herb & Garden Festival.

Lulu’s Cottage Acadian, located in Eunice, is in the heartland of Cajun & zydeco country with dancing, live music, festivals, the Liberty Theatre, the Courir de Mardi Gras, and so much more.

The Cottage itself is a historic single-story home built in the 1920s with hardwood floors and old world charm. The building includes 3 private bedrooms, a living room, couch, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms with tub and showers, a laundry unit, and a large screened-in porch. Parking is available on the east side of the property.

Awarded in 2022 as “Best Country House in Louisiana” by the International Tourist & Hospitality Awards.

The Keller House

This historic home, built in the 1800s and located in Eunice, Louisiana, was the abode of J.C. Keller Sr. and stayed in his family for 6 generations. Keller was the part-owner and promoter of the famous Liberty Theatre located mere steps away from his family’s estate. This theatre which opened in 1924, played host to tightrope walkers and musicians like Tex Ritter, Jimmy Clanton, the Bowery Boys, and Roy Rogers.

The first floor features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms including the master bedroom with a full en suite bath, complete with a large four-poster, master-sized bed. The master bedroom also has french doors leading into a parlor room. The second floor boasts three bedrooms and a full-sized bath. Common rooms include a living room, dining room, and kitchen with limited access. You can spend your day on the large covered porch overlooking historic downtown Eunice or take a walk to the nearby Jean Lafitte National Park Prairie Acadian Cultural Center and a number of museums. If you time your stay right, you will be in the center of the action for Cajun country’s Mardi Gras celebration.

The perfect place to sit back and drink in the over 100 years of history found within its walls, this bed and breakfast allows you to enjoy your early mornings in peace with an included continental breakfast and free WiFi. Children 14 and older are allowed. This bed & breakfast is also available to rent for small events. You can pay with cash, travelers checks, or card.

The Cottage at Cypress Grove is a fully renovated two-bedroom vacation home in Eunice, Louisiana, home to the famous Liberty Theatre and the Cajun French Music Hall of Fame & Museum. Located on five-plus acres of lush gardens and green space, it’s the perfect spot for birding, relaxing, and reconnecting with nature. Inside, the home features beautiful shiplap, a wide-open living space, a full kitchen with modern appliances, and a bathroom with a clawfoot tub.

Just steps away is the famous Chapelle Country Store, circa 1886, which is known to be the site of one of the last attempted robberies of Bonnie & Clyde. The store is now a boutique wedding venue that can also be used for rehearsal dinners, reunions, and other special events. The Cottage is located on the grounds of Cypress Grove, a special event venue.
